Wrong. To many callers. I would think someone has a better hand than this that they would be willing to call you with.

agreed don't get involved. you're not in a desperate position yet, MP2 is getting short though and limped so i need a much bigger hand than a5 to race with him.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

you are right in that its not a correct raise with A5, but you are wrong in that people are limping in with strong hands. LIMPER'S ARE DEAD MONEY! ATTACK THE DEAD MONEY! GAY LIMPER'S, VERY GAY, KILL THEM!!!!

for simplicity's sake lets say we have 5000 chips here, what is the range you would push with here after these gays trying to see the flop?

im pushing here with most pairs, say, 66+, AT+, KQ+.

this is a tight range considering our chances of getting called are more than if it was one limper.

if somone limped in in late position i would push on that shit with sooo many hands, basically any hand that plays well against the range he calls me with i would push with in order to chip up. hands like 9Ts are now pushable because they play well against the hands he limps in late and calls with (small pairs are what come to mind, A small, plus the chance he folds!) i would also push a hand like A5 now in THIS spot, because now A5 is ahead of the range he limps in late with.

i wouldn't raise with A5 here because A5 does not flop well, does not play well against hands people call you with, you aren't likely to take the blinds making it 4x so if i had to raise i probably would have raised a lot more, umm, i dunno, fuck im just rambling on, oh well, I hope you get the point.

limping isn't a terrible idea here though, fyi. You have 20 bb's, a big pot already, and a suited ace. and position.

I understand what you are saying TA about punishing the limpers with weak hands. But my problem is that there are 3 people trying to limp before he raises, so my assumption is that someone has an A with a better kicker than me, or a pair of some sort. My vote for this hand is to either fold it, limp, or raise big (you may have said this). I just dont like raising this hand like I would a hand like AQo in this position. Course for me, AQo would be a fairly large raise from me too.
