    Default What do you think?

I had been pretty aggressive and the button had taken a bad beat recently. I was more worried about what the CO would do but I took a gamble and decided to try and isolate.

    PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $1.00 BB (9 handed)

    CO ($40)
    Button ($10.50)
    SB ($99.90)
    BB ($100)
    UTG ($123.65)
    UTG+1 ($102)
    MP1 ($18.50)
    MP2 ($113.45)
    Hero ($99.65)

Preflop: Hero is MP3 with , . CO posts a blind of $1.
4 folds, Hero raises to $4, CO (poster) calls $3, Button raises to $10.5 (ALL IN), 2 folds, Hero raises to $20, CO folds.

    Flop: ($36) , , (2 players)

    Turn: ($36) (2 players)

    River: ($36) (2 players)

    Final Pot: $36

    Results in white below:
Hero has As 6d (one pair, aces).
Button has Kh 9h (one pair, nines).
    Outcome: Hero wins $36.
I think I'm going to give up playing poker.........and take up repeatedly hitting myself in the nuts

I dont like raising A6o 1 position before the cut off.
A6o is a hand wth very little big pot value (only 2 pair or trip 6's) and you are a bit too early to be bluffing imo.

I would only raise A6o from the button and even then I may fold it if blinds are loose/agressive/decent players. I'm not playing over tight, my attempt to steal blinds is about 25%, I'd just rather do it with a hand like 68s, 44 or KT than A6o.

I think the all in reraise is fairly marginal either way to be honest.
I don't know how tilitsh button is but obviously 66+ or A7+ is terrible for us and against any random 2 cards we are only a slight favourite (but with excellent EV due to pot odds). Throwing in the % of the CO actually having a hand leans towards a fold.

I think overal though that given the initital raise you made the all in reraise is +EV.

The CO has posted a BB here. So there's $2.50 in the pot to start and I want it. I would have raised almost any 2 cards here, so why not A6os?

    Easy Fold PF.

Because it's a weak hand that will get you into trouble. You're in full-ring, not 6-max.

What would you do if the flop is: A 10 4 (rainbow) ?

I'd even fold A-6 off on the button if there is an early limper.

If you have PT, go back through about 50k hands and tell me how much $ you have made playing A6o from ANY position.
