Flop 2 pair in the BB - Could I have played it better?
I think I'm going to give up playing poker.........and take up repeatedly hitting myself in the nuts

Haven't looked at results but I feel like you overplayed it.
If you are aiming to get all in by the river then you should 3bet the flop imo.
If not then slowdown a bit and call the turn bet.

What?!!?! fold the big blind? when no one has open raised??
Definately push that flop bet up to $10+ your 2 pair is very weak to any overcards because of that 2. Be weary of a hand like TQ playing against you here too... ive seen it so many times.
If he then calls that $10 on the flop, the check raise is good on the turn, but personally I prefer to go all in here. You have a good hand but it is exposed to so many other hands.

i would have check-called turn, then value bet/blocked the river for 1/3rd the potsize.
3 betting the flop is also a viable option, however i hate 3-betting 2pair.

I'm 3-betting this flop to $11 every day and getting ready to play for stacks. Then you can get more value on a 2/3 pot pot lead. He won't slowplay a striaght. He'l lminraise at the least. Check'calling's not bad, but when he overbets the pot, I'm bumpin to $50 and check/calling the river.

Flop: I had the villain on Jx and was looking to keep him around. I feel like he's raising me for information and I don't think it's time to reveal just how strong my hand is. I realise my 2 pair isn't that strong but I'm not really afraid of letting my opp see a turn here.
Turn: It's not a J/T/Q/K, so I'm pretty sure I'm still good here. The board is getting a little scary but if my read is correct and my opp is holding Jx, he should want to bet this turn as much as I want him to bet it. So I decide to go for the C/R and my plan works perfectly.
River: What are ya gonna do? I didn't even think about the flush since it came runner-runner. I am afraid of my opps call on the turn but he could have easily made the call with something like AJ or even TJ. If I check and he pushes, I have to call. If I check and he checks his Jx, I'm going to be pissed. So I might as well push it myself.
I don't really mind my flop and turn play but it's the river that I was lost on. After the villain calls my turn C/R, is it possible for me to check/fold this river? I hate the idea of shoving $60 into a pot when I'm drawing dead but I just don't see how I could have gotten away from it.I think I'm going to give up playing poker.........and take up repeatedly hitting myself in the nuts

Your river play is fine. If he has the flush he's pushing it and you are calling, so as you said you want to get value on some of the occasions when you are ahead and he checks his AJ behind.

I'm raising that flop up to $13-15, so many drawing hands that can kill you there. I would pop the turn up a bit more as well, probably $50 as alex said and that takes away any doubt on what to do with the river (what I like about raising to $50 is even if you have the best hand, you've committed him to the pot, his chips are in whether he likes it or not).
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.
I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.
