Default Rate This Stop n' Go

Ace2929 pulls this minraise in EP with AA and T8o alike. I was gonna squeeze just because the effective stacks showed me that it was very possible, but the 2nd caller thwarted that plan. The pot was ridiculously large, so I decided to call and push a good enough flop. Is this good enough? None of these guys are idiots in big pots postflop. Anyone just dumping this preflop or still pushing despite 2 callers?

the stop n go is really only effective in heads up pots. there is zero chance anyone folds a nine (or an overpair, duh) in this spot, and given that there is 4way action it's decently likely that someone has one. given the ridiculous amount of dead money in the pot, i probably just push preflop and hope i have two live ones.

I like it. The PF ranges are big and you'll probably be facing a draw or two overs if someone calls. Of course some could have you dominated but it's less than likely.

I make this play often when it seems the time is right and I like this spot.

    I like it.

The hands that you're afraid of are the 9 or the overpair (44 and 88 aswell I suppose but that's just unlucky). I don't think the 2 callers pf have an overpair, I would've thought they'd re-raise it and doubt they would be holding a 9 (maybe A9 but again unlikely) so I think you can count them out. That leaves you with the original raiser, I think the fold equity is good, the chances are the flop hasn't helped him and even if he does have you beat you've more than likely got a live draw.

the reward for winning this pot is big so I think it's a worthwhile move at that stage.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.
