These two hands happened 1 after the other and fucked up around 2 hours work.
Should I have gotten away from either of them?

Hand 1 there's noting you can do except go broke.
Hand 2. If Im betting that flop I would bet more around 2/3 - 3/4 pot size and folding to raise.

1st hand I don't make it to the flop. If I managed to limp in with that hand, I'm raising pot all the way (which might have ended up worse by scaring off that AJ). edit: Just notice it was 7-handed, I'm going broke each time then...
Hand 2: Unless the BB has been a slowplayer before, I'm not putting him on Aces or Kings... Instead I'm thinking he might semi-bluff raising with a diamond draw, or that he might have JJ or QQ. I reraise on the flop to feel him out. If he reraises back I fold. If he calls, I still assume he's on a diamond draw and I take control of the betting
