Unlucky or badly played?
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.
I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

His flop call was very questionable but your bet was weak. As a rule start betting 2/3 of the pot when you flop a gd hand. Well in fact always bet 2/3 of the pot when you have a hand or you are c betting. A bet around 700 should take it down here unless he is a complete machine gunner. What stake is this?

only a $5.50 donkfest sng. I wanted him all in on the flop but thought the bet of around half his stack would be more likely to work. If he folds to that he folds to a push, and i figured he'd be more likely to put his chips in 'on his terms'. His call was damn weird, he's hardly gonna fold later on.
Agree with you about the 2/3 pot cbet but that's why i went for the 1/2 pot at the time. For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

you played this fine imo. althought i may bet flop slightly harder, like maybe 650ish
villian basically has a 2 card draw on the flop.. hes not gonna draw out on you enough on the turn to make it profitable for him to call ur flop bet with such short stacks even if he is able to stack u when he does hit his 2 outer.
you getting him to call off 500 chips on the flop while he is significantly behind is already very +ev for you even if he hits and stacks you on the turnLast edited by Eclipse86; 12-30-2006 at 07:17 AM.
