    i HATE playing AJo preflop...

...the river scares me and I most likely fold.

AJ is a tough one to play this just about seems ok... Unsure on the river, without more reads if im calling that.

Especially hate it OOP. Once you take the lead, you have to keep it up every street to avoid a big push from behind.

I'd say pot control was decent throughout the had, good bet on the river made it possible to make the call after villain pushes. I'd prolly end up check/folding to the all-in and lose the pot.
If you are one in a million, there's eight just like you in Manhattan.

You played it fine. You kept control of the pot well so playing the hand isn't a concern with people who'll re-raise AA-JJ and AK/AQ, but I would've check/called the river.

I kinda thought that if I bet the river pretty decent he may be scared that I would have the flush (if he didnt have it). I honestly didnt think I would win this one, but by the end I felt kinda committed and had seen this guy call down with weakness before.

AJ is a serious weakness of mine. I tend to lose a lot of money on it I believe. I dont have a full version of PT yet so I cant be sure, but this kind of move is what usually kills me with AJ. I flop an A or something and then get called by AQ or AK who was to afraid to reraise preflop. I have to figure a way to play AJ well. I Any suggestions for when and how to play it and from what positions?

9 handed in EP my advice would be to fold AJo. It's not a great hand and can get you into alot of trouble. MP I might mix in a few calls and raises depending on the table and if it's folded to me on the button I'll put in a 4bb raise quite often. It's not a hand you want action with as if you get called and an ace flops you can't be sure where you're at which can get quite expensive.

6max it becomes a bit stronger and I'd play it a bit more but you have to be aggressive with it and really try and take down the pot as soon as you can IMO.
For Free Money, Rakeback and some 6x Ongame bonuses, I recommend PokerSource.

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

Ajo is a really poor hand in a 9-10 handed game. Should be open-folding it in the first 4-5 seats at a $100-200NL game. If enough people at $10NL are going to call raises with A7 and play 2nd pairs all in then AJ has some value. However if you plan moving up then you should start folding AJ in EP and always to raises unless you belive they are raising light (e.g button raise from an aggresive player) in which case repop them.
