If I was on the button I'd be tempted to go for a squeeze play but in the bb i'd probably call and see a flop as your pot-odds are pretty good. I'd bet out about 3k on that flop to see where I was at.

But as you say, if you're not happy playing it OOP then no shame in folding.

About 6300 in the pot and you have around 11000 left.
An all in push here wouldn't really be an overbet

If you are pretty sure someone has QQ/KK/AA/AK/AQ you don't have the odds to call this bet anyway so fold.
If you feel they don't just push it all in.

For me calling is worst play.

Am I right?

i feel so yes

utg + 1 went on a tear of raising alot of pots and winning the blinds uncontested. he would only show his good cards to get the image of having it all the time...

i later went to busto to utg +1 when he raised king jack off utg + 1 again to my bb with q 9 suited where i proceeded to push all in and of course he won....

ive gotten better on my squeeze play, i didnt feel like this was a good situation to try it with...maybe next time ill do it..

But do you really want to put your whole tourney on the line with KQ off? And if you were gonna go for this kind of play would it not be better to just call then push on the flop as they're more likely to call pf?

About calling, I think there's a very wide range of hands that the other players could have (all have reasonably big stacks and no re-raises, and the raise from UTG+1 stinks of a middle pp) which, for me anyway, would lean me towards playing it, if only to see a cheapish flop.

If you were gonna re-raise this I wouldn't push it, maybe pop it up to 6k or so, might make it a bit more believable IMO.

Unless i'm missing the point here...

if you call and miss your flop, u have cards to come on the turn to get ur money in right htere

you could squeeze here if u do smell a pp and repop him and push him off his hand ....the all in is a deadly move like that...
