Default Aces Nearing the Bubble in a 90-man

Villian's just a typical LPA and the rest of the table was supertight so I went with a small PF raise. 18 pay and 23 were left, so i was throwing my chips around A LOT lately. Thoughts on the hand?

EDIT: I meant to raise to 1444 PF, but I was 4-tabling and fucked up.

So you screwed up preflop..
Anyways, shouldn't you bet more on the flop? you are pretty much giving him odds to chase something on a draw heavy board.

I think we have the best hand here, but you definitely could've played this better.. especially on the bubble.

If I didn't think I could've played it better, I wouldn't have posted it. LOL.

What is up with people like you who raise to stupid amounts? Why can't you use round numbers?
Anyway, I would have bet much more on the turn in hopes of taking the pot right there, you really don't want to see a river. What did he have? 88 or something like that?

He does it to tilt people like you.

And like me, too. But I make a point of not allowing it to tilt me. That would give my opponent power over me, and what good is that?

But if I'm raising, I take the opportunity to "fix" the amount so it's nice and neat again.

PFO tournies generate the best Hand Analysis threads... so much argueing.

I think you played it well, I'm guessing he had a smaller pocket pair than yours so you're value betting all the way. I don't fear the flush so much because we have the ace of hearts and anything that makes a straight isn't limping UTG. I'm only remotely afriad of a set, but even then I think he's raising you on the flop or turn to protect his hand.
