Default How do you play these?

Background.

Rebuy tourney. Joined like 10 mins after it started and got put on the alternates list. Had no idea what this was so just forgot it. 18 mins before the rebuy ends, i get seated.

go to the break with about 1200. Yeah, i know. I add on to 2700, figure its cheap and ill just pick my spot after the break, avg is around 9000.

After the break i pick up 99 like 3 hands in and just push. AQ and A10 call me and my 9's hold, so now im average. Not bad.

Blinds are 150/300 with antes. me just below avg with 9000.

I keep getting 44, 55, just a ton of low pocket pairs in EP.

How do you play them? Every hand u play ur playing if ur not winning ur loosing a decent amount of money.

What do you do with low-mid PP's in these situations?

I folded them all. i figure i dont really have chips to waiste at this point.

But, if i can flop a set.... im probably getting a huge return

This early, players are deep stacked enough and the play is passive enough to open-limp. Folding isn't bad, though. UB's hi antes make folding slightly bad with 12 minute blind levels before people start getting aggressive before the flop, IMO.

If this is a turbo rebuy, you're definitely folding. Can't afford to play pots OOP without being the aggressor in turbos.

no offense, but u have not seen NEARLY enough of how rigged the rebuy is. if only i had my pokertracker, u would feel alot better.

i have cashed in 10 rebuy tournaments in the past 3 days, every time were deep itm i get sucked out on or lose a huge race for alot of chips. every, single, time
