    Default 51 players left

    51 pays 60$ or sooo
    1st place pay 3K
    2nd 2K
    3rd 1K

    I have 49K in chips (I'm 3rd in chips)
    EP1 44K
    Full table

    Blinds 1k/500 antes 75

EP1 is pretty loose agressive, he raise a lot of hands from any position and ha steal a lot of blinds cause our table is very weak... he got raised twice:fold one of them and reraise all in the other time with 99 and held VS AQs. Got called a few time and won and lost a few without show down and won one with KTs and another one with A8o...

to be honest I steal lot aswell but with good position...

    I catch AcKc from CO.

    EP1 raise to 5K

What do you do and why?:
    Flat call
    Standard raise to 15K
    Raise all in
Fold (ok I know, I cant fold)

    KJ

Raise to t15k and call a push. He probably has air anyways. Did he always raise 5x preflop? that's a pretty big bet with blinds that high.

    are you serious?

ok, lets break this down. blinds are 500/1000 with a 75 chip ante. which means before the hand there is allready 2250 in the pot. ep1 open raises to 5k(dumb raise), so now there is 7250 in the pot. your stack has 49k, meaning if you call and miss the flop (70%ish of the time) you will be losing more than 10% of your stack.

AK is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay ahead of his open raising range here, plus there is allready 7250 in the pot, which represents more thanb 10% of your stack. this dead money not only compensates for when he has a pair, but it is definantly enough to be worth stealing.

RAISE. imo i dont think it matters if you shove or make it 15k, either way it commits you to the pot. actually, make it 15k, he might get frisky and try to resteal with garbage. shoving lets him fold a few hands u can beat. but hmm, however, shoving might get him to fold some small pairs...

i dunno. i probably make it 15k, shoving isnt terrible imo, either way you have to raise this hand.

Well... I indeed reraised him. All in!!

    He instantly callt with 44!!!!!!!
He did'nt even tought about it....

And I flopped an A right away but he caught the runer runner str8.

I was just thinking, even if its not really smart, if I flat call and move on the flop here I get a rid ofhim and take a pretty nice 7K with almost no risk!

or think of it this way. you were lucky(in a sense) to flop a pair, as in 70% of the time you wont flop a pair, and wont be able to just move on the flop with little to no risk and take it down.
also keep in mind hes not raising 100% of the time with a pair. more than 50% of the time preflop you do indeed have him dominated. you have good fold equity in this hand with a push, i think raising is the right play. he is supposed to fold low pairs to make your push very good, but even if he calls you with 22, he still calls you with hands that you dominate like all the big aces, hell maybe KQ, KJ, who knows. 44 is a terrible call there in the long run as your range is probably like at least (i dunno how you play and i dont know exactly how this dude was playing so spare me) but you are prolly shoving like 88+, AJs+ or something. he is definantly dominated more than not.

this is why tournaments and sngs bug me sometimes. it seems like u can make every +ev play but every time its a race and you lose. or like in sngs u shove on the bb from the sb on the bubble with junk like 45s and he calls with like J7o and wins. so rigged sometimes
