I raised 5 x bb, but had 3 callers. Flop brings 10 10 Q... did villian have A Q or a 10... or crap? Should I have pushed or folded to the flop reraise? Maybe a bigger tester bet in the flop? Bigger raise pre-flop to limit the field?

Pot is big enough to gamble nobody has a T- push the flop
Sometimes you get called by AQ, KQ maybe even other pp, giving you additional equity

I dont like calling flop unless you are also calling turn.
Either reraise all in or decide you are commited to the pot no matter what happens then flat call flop and hope he pushes turn with a Queen or a bluff as well as if he has the 10.
If you fear a T that much ou should fold on flop. Those 350 chips are too precious to put them in unless you are intending to go all the way imo.
Edit: And please never bet 100 into a 500 pot. You should be betting 300-500 there and of course this commits you to calling a push.Last edited by WotaWaster; 11-16-2006 at 03:22 AM.

No matter what other mistakes I made, I realize that calling the flop re-raise, then folding the turn was not a good idea. I also understand that my 100 flop raise was inapprorpiate. My thinking was to rasie small and have someone come over the top, then I'd push, but when it came back to me I had visions of 10s in his hand.
The real truth, we all know, is that the best thing to do with pocket kings is fold PF: http://www.pokerforums.org/glory-corner/16753-folded-kk-preflop-post139073.html

Definately bet more on the flop. The small bet there allows someone to think that they can make a play at the pot without risking too many chips. If you bet at least 300 then people will be less inclined to make a move without the ten, and you still have enough chips left to fold to a raise if you think you are beat.
Considering you only bet 100, I agree with Wota, do not call the raise on the flop unless you are putting all of your chips in on this hand.

This is a good hand. The call is a BB call I would expect. The pot was 200 when he called from the BB. He knows there's gona be another caller which increases his equity with a marginal hand. If there's no other caller he has position on you. Which, I dont think judgin by the hand, this guy was thinkinng about. He gets 2:1 on his call. Obviously you recognize that the post flop bet was weak. I take his raise, post flop, for a raise that has to be made cause of the weakness in your bet.
Post Flop - This is where I would overbet the pot to see what his play would be from there. Without making that bet and seeing what his play is I don't know. If I made the overbet and he pushed I still think I'd be inclined to call. Looks like it was early in a tournament and this is a position where Q would make the push. If he had the 10 I guess that's the way she goes. But I think after his post flop raise and your flat call, post turn, his only play after your check is a push. Even with an Ace. One other thing... As far as asking if you raise more pre flop. Maybe. But not much. 2x pot takes away some odds for weak limpers. But pre flop I don't mind the bet.
