How to bet this River
There was a hand ealier about betting the river, and now here's another example. I seriously thought of checking, hoping for him to bet/bluff and then decided to raise a bit and decided on 300 - less than half-pot.
Any advice on how I could have extracted more?

Generally bet more on each street, with a flop like that its very unlikely he didn't hit something. I take it he was probably drawing. Played as it is, I put him all in on the river, we're most likely only getting called by an ace and if he has it then you want him to pay the full price.

correctly played river w/ the line you take. I like betting flop and then checking turn. That is strait out of my bag of tricks. Obviously this guy had nothing. Any kind of A J or 8 would call that river.

I would definitely raise the turn more. There is a possibility he had 9T or a diamond draw in which case making him pay with cards to come is the only way to extract value. You also offered him good pot odds if he was on a draw.
If he has nothing you're probably not getting much more anyway.

Flop: bet is good; a check is possible too, since drawing hands are going to stay anyways unless we push all-in. I think both options should be about equally good.
Turn: Great card for us. All drawing hands missed, so we don't necessarily need a boat to win. I think we need to charge something for the river card now. Check-raise is good against aggressives and donkeys, against tight players betting out looks best. Check-Raise more though.
River: I might try another check-raise here, but a small value bet looks good too. Ax might raise you & you get all the money in.
