You fucked up.
Lots of good rakeback options at http://www.rakeguard.com/?raf=KRE8R
KRE8R probably has about seventy college funds in his NL5 roll.

I would not have called the preflop raise I dont think. Seems like your push was a bit much as well with second pair. I dont know. I guess if you had seen him play a certain way...

Is this the type of hand where you just don't believe that the other person has what is shown?
I have real problems with that.....donking off chips especially to LAG types. It happens to me more when I have been card dead for a while and I lose patience.
I think that because I have acknowledged my deficiency I am actually getting better in respecting other players hands...........annoying when they show their cards and they have nothing of course.........next thing I will work on.My FTP 1000 $1 SnG Quest:

In retrospect it was a horrible push. Not because I lost, but I should of believed the aces. Better to fold the winner than call the loser.

The more I look at it, the 6k bet was for action. All in would of been the bluff. I will win this 180 SNG. Mark my words.

I'd have folded or raised pre flop Loz. You have 3 big stacks behind you. They are gonna raise a limper if they pick up any 2 face cards or a pair. When you limped you put yourself in a position where if they raised, you had a tough decision. I personally would have folded this pre flop.
You chose to play this and you needed to compensate for being out of position by putting in a raise. Limping in this spot either means you have a monstor or a marginal hand. He raised with AK to define his hand. Once he did so and you called, he had information on your hand and you have none on his. This puts you in a tough spot. You are out of position for the rest of the hand and your opponent has more info than you.
I would have trapped you with a probe bet on that flop too.
Raise or fold. Fold to the raise after the limp imo.Last edited by shalesey_boy; 10-27-2006 at 12:59 AM.

Flop was played perfectly I think. If you're puttin 25% of your stack in preflop you have to gamble if you catch a piece of it.
UTG with M of 10 you shouldn't be limping with anything unles it is to reraise all in.
