That guy was a moron. Do you usually raise preflop with QT sooted in middle position?
Lots of good rakeback options at http://www.rakeguard.com/?raf=KRE8R

KRE8R probably has about seventy college funds in his NL5 roll.

if u are damn sure that this is a coin flip then u should always take it, cuz thers already dead money in the pot.

btw, i like how u played it on all streets.. however I probably bet less on the flop.. like $2.5-3

I don't mind the flop bet. With 2 people behind him, it looks like normal continuation bet, plus his equity and the fact the re-draws are heavily in his favor, 2/3 the pot seems good.

No way can you fold the flop. $10+ in dead money and the $12.70 to win from Villian, makes calling with any 2 diamonds between Ace and 8 along with any Ace hi flush draw. Even if he has KQ, you're in marginally good shape from an equity standpoint. The only hand you're scared of is 22 out of a wide enough range to not be in fear.

Woops, my bad. I didnt see that there was 2 people to act after him. I thought it went to the flop heads up, in which case the potsize on the flop would be around $4. My mistake... In this case, your flop bet of $4 into $6 or 2/3ps is perfect.

I had not raised at this table in a couple of orbits, so I was pretty sure I would at least have position on one of the blinds. 6 handed QTs isnt a bad hand.

BTW: Thanks for telling me about cardrunners Alex.

Not a huge fan of the PF raise. I think you get the same results post-flop open-limping.

I hate open-limping early. It allows me to limp with small pairs and cuts down people's rasing ranges. Giving off an image of open-raising over open-limping confuses people when you limp. I would've folded PF, but I like raising over limping. Add in that he gives himself an extra shot to win the pot. Limping early is a bit fishy because you're praying to hit the flop and you don't know what you're praying for. Don't fuck with the Jesus. (I'm an atheist. They were watching Lebowski in the office today.)

It also depends on recent hands. If eldave have raised a lot this orbit or this one and last (a lot= the last 2 hands, 2 of the last 3, 7-8 of the last 12), this is a good time to just muck that shit because people are gonna think you're getting out of line.

Open-limping isn't always a wrong line to take. Says so in NLT&P, lol.
