I would have folded both hands. The first one, you don t really have anything, 3 to a flush and a straight with 2 holes in it.
I don t like to push in with KQo when the pot has already been raised unless you know the raiser will raise with atc or will fold. When he calls, you are too often beat, as in this situation, you are very lucky that you hit your one live card.

sorry buddy with his raise and me already invested in the pot this is the 2nd hand im talking about not the first one...the first one i have decided would of been +ev pushing -ev raising
im pushing this hand everyday and 3 times on sunday, his raise gives me pot odds to push
almost 1k in chips already in the pot before i push
and i push another 2k
at worst im a 4:1 dog ak vs kq
but here its pretty much a race with him probably at a 60:40 advantage

I was talking about folding preflop, you have a decent stack relative to the blinds, and you don t even have ace high. Plus there is a raise in front of you, no pushy pushy with king high when you have a raise in front of you. Best case scenario you are a 3:2 dog.

I like the push in #2, he's getting 2:1 to call which is enough to chase out worthless hands. Against a good player, this is hugely +CEV. Against a mediocre player you might be a small underdog on average. I would expect to see hands like AJ here often, which have you dominated.

I'd fold both pre flop.
In UTG +1 on an 8 handed table KQo is cheese. You have to fold to any raise and your out of position to anyone but the blinds. Your M is at 10. If you play then you push pre flop with this hand and hope everyone folds.
The 2nd hand your M is just under 7.5, you only have 100 invested in the pot. CO has shown strength and again KQo is cheese. It could be a blind steal but with his stack why would he risk it. I'd wait for a better oppertunity. It worked out ok but I recon pushing is a -ev move.Raul Duke - There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge.Bar Nuthin™ - If it ain't broke, fix it 'til it is!

Both spots are raise or fold, personally. Limping works with the right table.
First hand- preflop:
1.) People don't respect early raises until later in the tournament. You're gonna have to hit the flop or be lucky enough to get a weak player to call.- Fold.
2.) You have a great drawing hand and your limp will encourage limps that will discourage raises. If you don't get raised out of the pot, you're willing to go broke with top pair to a set or bigger.- Borderline limp, but this why I say it's a raise or fold situation.
3.) Raising isolates the field to see where you're at. No re-raise means that when you flop top pair, you'll have the best hand enough to make it a profitable play. Raise.
4.) Do you struggle with analyzing which flop to continuation bet often when you miss? If so, fold.
5.) You're in the Orange Zone in both hands. If #4 is a yes, shove.
6.) If you feel comfortable with the 2-3 people on your left, you'll pick up chips in late position on and after the button. Fold.
Postflop:
First hand's an easy fold. That's a bet that deserves respect out of position.
Second hand's a good shove. You're ahead of his range and getting desperate. He opened in the CO. You could even have the best hand. If not, you're usually a coin flip to JJ-22 or an Ace- Jack kicker or lower. You're seldom dominated and there's enough dead money in the pot to justify a shove. This is gonna be heads-up. You force the blinds to wake up with a monster that dominates you, but you're usually not in bad shape because they're folding enough.
