SB has been mostly tight and not very aggressive. He called an all-in from a LAG with 99 and beat the LAG's 66. CO has been aggressive, makes C-bets and usually takes down the pot on the flop. This is the 100/200-25 round.

He's aggressive and I have an M below 10...I'm pushing. He could be making this move with any PP (race), Ax, KQ-K9s, QJ, QTs, JT, and pretty much any SC because of the folds.

I don't think there's much need to push just yet. Your M is closer to 10 than 5 so it's not near panic time as yet. You have position on him and if he's on a steal you already have him cautious with a call.
A re-raise to fold the blinds get heads up is also a pretty good option but it will take almost half your stack so if you're considering that you should go with Sean's advice and just push all-in as you'll only have one bet left on the flop anyway. I've noticed in live tourney (more so than online) that guys will put in a re-raise and be left with less (on occation considerably less) than their raise. When I see that I know I good to get to showdown for a cheap price even if I miss the flop. Holding onto just a few chips reduces your fold equity and if anything encourages a call since you've limited your next bet to sweetening the pot instead of protecting your hand. So in this hand it's call or re-raise all-in imo.

Seems to be a mix of responses here. Anyway, you elect to call. SB pushes all in. Everyone folds around to you. Pot is now 4515 and it is 1740 to call. What do you do?
EDIT: OOPS, this should have gone in part 2. Alex, can you remove the part 1 from the thread title?Last edited by triple-t; 09-20-2006 at 02:55 PM.

I think I need to go through HoH again...I seem to start looking for big aces and painted broadway to push when my M is just below 10.
There is a case to be made for pushing though, I believe. As shown in part 2, SB pushes. If we push, we get the FE and first-in vigorish.BOSS
