i'm still trying to figure out why you went all in, people arent gonna think you raised with 9A or 9 anything else, you have king high, and no pairs.

I was getting desperate. At this point I was in 44th (or so) with about 55 people left in the tournament. Only 18 make the money my personal goal is to make the final table at least. So I'd rather go down swinging here with KJ then just sit around and get blinded out. I realised before the hand that raising KJ UTG could very well bust me, and I was willing to accept that, but it still doesn't justify the villains play whatsoever.

Same happened to me with KQs in the last 180-men tourney I played. Next time I'm gonna be all in with 45s rather than this king-high garbage.

I understand, i've been in the same position before. Just gotta wait for a better time thats all, you still had 1k in chips, even though bb is 200.

lol in a 1.20 45 person awhile back, i held off on the FT with like 6 people left (was even already in the money) till i got so low i was blinded all in. Won that hand, won all in the next hand vs. 3 people and went to win the whole thing.

    1.) Moved to Hand Analysis.

2.) $20 is still lo stakes. Tons of donkeys.

3.) You were in push/fold before the flop.

I realised that I was pretty much committing myself to the hand either way and I debated between pushing PF and trying the stop and go method. I opted for the latter because I had pushed a couple of hands recently and thought I would try and mix it up a bit.
