I'll start with the previous hand. At the start of this hand, I'm 20th out of 21 left in the $4 Stars 180 SnG. For those who don't know, 18 get paid. I hadn't seen a hand in the last 2 or 3 rounds...

Hero ?????
So what do you do and why?
My rationale for my action and results in white below:
1. My M is around 6.7, so I am still very shortstacked... (favors push)
2. I want to give myself the best chance of winning... (favors push)
3. Only 2 more until the money... MP2 seems to be a decent and aware player. Being so close to the money and shortstacked, he should know I'm not pushing garbage. (favors push)
4. I'm probably going to be a slight favorite or a huge favorite. (favors push to eliminate the other players)
5. MP2 has already invested over 1/3 of my stack and only has to call a little more for the chance to knock me out. (favors fold)
6. MP1 limped and may call MP2's raise (favors push or fold)
7. MP2 might not want to risk 1/3 of his stack on a coinflip. (favors push)
8. Even though I want to ITM, I would much prefer a Final Table appearance. (favors push)
So I pushed. Everyone else folds, MP2 calls and has AK. King flops and I'm out in 20th place.

1st hand is an easy push.
2nd hand, can't argue against pushing or folding. I'd push because I probably have the best hand. I'd fold because I have no fold equity and the only hand I'm not flipping a coin with are tens that I see him having to make this huge raise.
I'm all about final table or bust, but for this reason, I hate going all-in with no fold equity holding a medium pair. I'm not saying that I've never done it, but i admit my donkery before and after I do it because I lose nothing by folding and there's a lot of poker to be played. I can afford to fold this because I open-raise PF so often that I drag enough pots to keep me around without playing a big pot in a case like this.

agreed, 1st hand is easy push...
i fold 2nd hand, i have no money committed to pot (other than ante), he's not raising 5x BB without TT-AA,AQ-AK, mayyyyybe AJs but doubtful. Frankly, I dont want to race right now...ESPECIALLY not willing to do so with no fold equity. that may be the biggest factor. I can't really argue AGAINST a push, but i'll do my best to argue for a fold.
