1.) My Stud8 experience is in cash games, but shorthanded, you want to scoop more because the lo halves will show no profit as you'll be heads-up too much. The 10 as your door has no scare value and your only chance to scoop is the 8 folding without gambling too much.

Being suited is nice with a King in the hole higher than any door, but you have no connectors either. What you do have looks pretty, but you're lacking too much while you see an 8 and a Jack out there. I'll fold here, let the Jack complete and hope one those battle it out and one scoops a pot to even out the stacks a bit to be more aggressive. But if I'm playing this, I'm completing to represent a pair, firing another bullet on 4th to go boards and even if he's higher up top, you'll get 6th for free a lot.

Basically, 3-handed, I'll go for a knockout blow with these stacks or steal as the aggressor, not draw it out. In a cash game, I'm playing this on 3rd as you did. Again, I'm not a Stud tournament player by any means.

2.) After 4th, you have to call him down all the way, so I'll shootout with him til I'm all in. He might just call and fold to a lot of 5th St. cards..

3.) 6th gives you the lo draw to go with your club draw. I'm all in here, too. Since he has no lo draw, you can figure by 5th that a King's no good and you'll need 2 pair for the hi, at least.

4.) You have to raise this river all in for value.

You just got 4 straight lo cards with a King high flush. You are scooping this so many times against his J85T of hearts board. You've locked up the lo and if you were deep stacked 3-handed, he's gonna cap every time he has a J high flush, 2 pair, or a set. Best part is that there's no rake. Worse case scenario, you win half, but you've walked on water here.

4th St. was your lock to draw this out with at least 14 wins in the deck to the hi and 3 to come. His lo draw wasn't much, so even if you catch a miracle lo (like you did), he won't. You were the favorite to scoop on 4th.

Yeah, I agree that my call on 3rd was a little loose. But once I got 4 to the flush on 4th street, I knew I had a lot of draws at some real outs. I didn't raise, because I felt he would have called me down. Also, I calculated that if I called every street, I could still leave myself with 1k if I missed my draws and folded on the river. I was so excited I hit my draw on the river, I forgot to raise my last 180 chips, so I didn't leave too much on the table.
