flop play is good. his bet could very well be a steal, you made a small raise in position with top pair, yadayda, standard.
once he calls and minbets the turn again, i think im just going for the cheap showdown here. now there's actually a chance youre beat, however its only 4k more. call the 4k and check behind on the river. the raise is pointless, imo.

I like to raise preflop in this situation. I also agree, call to cheap showdown.
