Default here is how to defend against the min raise

getting min raised OOP usually puts you in a tough spot. basically, you make a PF raise, and you dont flop the nuts.
this is my standard defense against a min raise.

i think this line is best because it prevents a bluff just as good as re raising, however if we are beat we can get away cheaper.

in this spot i actually picked up a pretty decent hand, TPTK. however, this line works with tons of differnt hands that are good, but tough to play OOP. for instance, 88, on a very low board like 2 6 7. or something like 9Ts on a 9 high board.

the river bet is because im going to call all in if she pushes anyway, so its best to push in the 1st place. the river bet is not reccomended 100% of the time, i just thought it was best here because the only hand the K helps is KQ, and im going to call a push here anyways. and in heinsight, the push was a great play on the river, because if i check, i am sure she would check behind with what she actually had. (a very weak queen. once she just called my turn bet i was positive this is what she had)

What's important is that you felt you had the best hand on the flop.

He had $50 left on the turn. The way people normally react to me, when I just call the flop, I'll bet 1/3-2/5 of his remaining stack to put him in a push or fold decision on the turn if I don't push the flop because of the straight draw out there. This looks like a free river play, but could equally be a hand you dominate like KQ, QT, Q9, or shit queen. But could equally be QJ, JJ, or 22. This is player dependent and if you didn't know him yet, you paid for the information that this guy's an idiot. He went the calling-station-sheriff route. Take a note and stalk the guy. He's a pay-off wizard. When you find these guys, it's worth the risk because thoguh there aren't as many total donks in online $100 games, even a lot of TAG players tend to be pay-off wizards because they like to take pride in the fact that they play good cards and tend to get stubborn and arrogant thinking that the more books you read the less good cards your opponents' get.
