These were the last 2 hands (for me) of a 9-man SnG I played yesterday... top 3 paid(50% 1st, 30% 2nd, 20% 3rd).
Both beagle59 and OmahaMeat seemed to be decent players, however beagle was way more passive after the flop then Omaha so I was trying to play agressive in pots against him.
The first hand I put him on a PP (77s-JJs), so I fired a continuation bet (too small??)... I guess a push on the turn would have taken the pot down (maybe)...
...The hand right after Im dealt AK (blinds just went up), im sitting at a M of 7. In hindsight I think I should pushed here pf...
Advice on how to play these hands better is welcome....

Did I donk these hands up? (Short-handed NL)

1.) Your PF raises are high. You give yourself no oppurtunity to drop AJ, AT, A9, KQ, and PPs 88-22 (if you raise with those). I just got back into SnG's and at this point, raising to 2.5-3bbs gets the same reactions as 4-5bb raises. The cons with the bigger raises are
A.) You slow down a lot of people with QQ, JJ, AK, and AQ who you want to tell you what they have.
B.) You force yourself into bigger cb's when your stack can't really withstand them and people know that calling your cb is safe because you can't afford to fire another bullet on the turn without a hand.
2.) I like the second hand. You were lucky that you were unlucky that he had JJ and got a bit lucky picking up the straight, but the 57/43 PF odds calculate all 5 cards and compile so many different situations. Just bad luck in the timing for him.
I'll give the first a 6.5/10 in being weak because early aggression without the follow through is weak, scared 2 card poker. I'll give the second hand a 2/10 in donkery. I'd like to see you just push PF if you were planning on doing this on a flop like this, but you were pushing for the pot as is and ran into a hand. That's poker.

hand 1 chek pf, check/fold all streets.
hand 2, go all in pf. if you make 3bb raise pf/ then i would also bet pot on flop.I get more ass than a toilet seat. All shapes/colors/sizes.

Thanks...this makes sence. Had I just raised only,300 here, then cb 300... id have about 2000 left and looking at 1250 pot.... I then could have easily fired the 3rd bullet 700-800 and have 1200 chips to fold with.
