Default Live STT: down to final 3

I just played in my monthly live STT with my friends. I typically own these guys, but they are all getting a little better. Last night we were down to the final 3. 12000 chips in play, I am chip leader and the spread is about 4500 for me (button), 3500 for 2nd (SB), and 3000 for 3rd (BB).

Blinds are at 150/300. I look down and see QQ.

I decided to just limp because it was getting to the point where these guys were pushing with almost any 2 paint cards, or any ace, but where inclined to fold to my raises. I was hoping to catch one of them making a move.

I limp, SB raises to about 600-700 chips or so, cant remember exact. BB pushes all in.

I thought about it for a few minutes and considered folding hoping to let them knock each other off and get it heads up since we pay out 2 spots. Then I figured that there was a good shot that they both had an ace and quite possibly could be holding each others outs. I knew SB was calling either way.

So i pushed all in and the SB came along as expected. SB showed A 7 offsuit, BB showed AK, and I showed my QQ.

The flop was a thing of beauty. QJJ.....flopped the nuts and won the tourney.

While driving home with more of there money in my pocket I wondered wether the more prudent play would have been to fold. I can outplay any of them, and would have been fine facing a 2-1 chip deficit to either of them.

What would you do on the bubble in this spot?

Bump

Don't any of you NL players have any feedback for me?

I corrected the original post. BB had AK, not KK

i would call with QQ.

you are way ahead of their range of possible hands, and even if you lose you still have chips left over, and are still essentialy guarnteed a payday. if sb wins, you have 1500 and other guy has 500, looking good to get into heads up play.

if other guy wins, you are head up

if you win, you win.

i actually dont even know if i would call with JJ. probably not.

If you fold this, I will have to kill you . . . .

3 handed with big blinds . . . . QQ is the monster of monsters . . .

If one of them has AA or KK, then you're cursed and should kill yourself . . .

LOL!!!

3 handed, you played it like a gem.

You can get away if no one pushes, but you know someone's gonna push and you don't wanna kill the action.

you know its gonna be a 3-way allin... you can lose the hand and still win... and considering they probably have eachothers outs its a great place to get your money in

You wouldn't have had to. I would have slit my wrists postflop after seeing what hit the board.

When I say I thought about folding, it was literally a nano-second. I was just wondering thats all...................
