Playing a 3 to a flush board
I am looking for some general strategy on playing a 3 to a flush flop board. For the sake of argumentation lets assume that I have an overpair (QQ +) to the board, I have no backdoor FD.
What do you do:
- in LP w/ a small bet in front of you? In MP w/ a small bet in front?
- As the UTG?
is this a situation where we need a read on a player to make a play?
this last weekend while playing, when ever a 3 to a flush flop came out, a true DONK, would lead out w/ a 5bb raise. If you did call him down, he showed junk, yet he was not called down that often.
A 3 to a flush board is a part of the game that I am really confused by. Please help me!
