Ok, here's one I've been thinking about. Typical Party SNG, CO has a nasty habit of pushing all in over the top of raisers and has a PF raise of 27.5%. The big raise on the button is from a "fear of flopper", so that has to be a mid pocket pair. So do I trap call and hope CO comes back over the top of both of us and trap them? Or do I just take what's on the table now and push all in knowing button's calling.

After much deliberation, I'm leaning towards trap calling this particular player. Problem is, that on overcard flops I'm not going to get anything else out of the Button if I'm wrong and CO folds or flat calls PF. . . . .

There's no wiggle room postflop at all, so pushing is the hands-down smart move. This is pot either getting bigger now or on the flop and this is a case where you want it big now, especially when you know the button's calling. You need to double up ASAP to give yourself that early SnG cushion because you've already lost some chips and I don't know how close you are to 50/100 blinds, but this hand takes care of you for the rest of this level and the next when there'll be a lot of bingo going on.

his range of calling UTG or w/e is prety wide, like; suited conn, high cards, 22-aa.

two choices; smooth call MP's raise (which he will deff call a reraise), or smooth call it hpoing for 3 way.

smoothcalling meens; you WILL call any bet on flop, thus you are comitted. )(@ my style would dictate that i have to cal flop 95%.)

so im leaning w/ alex. your looking @ 100% double up (@ 80% survival rate), or possible 3 tripple up (with several factors possibly chanig that 3riple up theory; such as ppl folding flop to your bet, etc...)

I think you played it best, he may not raise since the initial bet was so large, and you arent getting any more money on this flop (or a lot of others).

I think you played it fine pre flop.

Theres nothing to say the CO would re raise anyway, so get your best odds - heads up against one hand - and be happy with the double up. You still have that info to use on the CO with a larger chip stack so be patient.
