Crushing SSNL by jeremy steinhausen is the best poker book out right now. Helped me get better in 2011, but its a little bit advanced for beginners, so keep that in mind before you make a purchasing...

It really depends on the board run outs, some boards you would be crazy to fire 3, and some boards you would be crazy not to fire 3. It just depends!!!!!!
