Not with that A out there - people just will NOT lay down an A pre-flop in these games. With 4 other people out there, there's probably an 80% chance that someone is playing Ax.

80% chance is pretty much a joke. I've played in those games, and its not that bad. You run into KT or JQ here so often that you are probably missing a bet.

I probably check the river aswell, there is some value in betting though alot of hands that you have beat will still call you down. If people are just calling you down with Ax you should really be happy, that fantastic .

Thats a retardedly good looking table you were at Marm, lots of loose passive play. UTG turned top two and didn't even raise, UTG+2 donks out on the river and doesn't even earn any extra bets. Capping with 22, and calling a cap with Ax or QT thats aswesome.

I agree with Bonch here. I'd fire out another bet on the river. Maybe the Ace won't fold, but we don't know he has an Ace. The play on each street by the others in the hand is very weak, and there is no reason to think you're behind here.

I play in them all the time- I'm almost sure that betting there is -EV, and I'll bet that 80% isn't even THAT much of an exaggeration. Heads up, sure take a shot but five handed??
