k this was a lil while ago. but i'm going to try and remember it to the best of my knowledge... couple weeks ago..
Well . it was my first time goin to a card room . i was pretty damn nervous.. it was a underground cardroom.. not a casino.. it was sweet tho.. in Toronto. Anyways.. So for the first bit i was nervous.. but soon got into my game. I won a few hands and busted one guy with a set of QQ's when he was on tilt.. that felt good . until this came. A new guy came to the table, and he was Jewish (i'm just saying this because of the irony) hehe.. anyways . he sits down and is obviously a fish from the first few hands he was playing.
So there I was, sitting BB
I look down to see in the hole
I wait for everyone couple people limp in . The action gets back to me . I raise it 20$. EP's fold and then it comes to the 'Jew' . he re-raises me another 20$.
The rest of MP's and LP's fold . I call .
Flop comes .
Made my set . I think for a sec . and decide to raise . i put in 50$.
W/O very much thought he looks at his cards and calls and goes all in.. like another 80$ .
From watching him play the most i put him on was AK and if he had KK or AA i was already beat . I call him.
He turns over
I just smirk thinkin this was the end and i win.
Turn comes, something like
And the river . he was down to 4 outs . and....
Giving him the straight and the win .
What do you all think about that? think I should have changed my strategy? I think i played it right personally . but other opinions .
Wanted to strangle someone .....
