I fold PF.

I'm not a big fan of K9s.

I'm not usually either, but the table had been playing pretty loose, plenty of raising PF with Ax so I thought I'd see a flop, if I missed then no problem, no(t much) harm done.

calling a 12bb raise pf with intent to fold if you miss is what i call... a serious flow in your strategy and thus a mistake. loose tight, dont matter imo.

I'm not disputing that at all, it was a loose call, but the way the table had been playing that sort of raise PF with marginal hands was quite common. I'm not looking for sympathy anyway, just showing you the worst beat I've come up against.

Ok, this hand is nothing. I lost a hand (and got eliminated from the tourney) with a flopped Nut flush (AK of spades starting hand), losing to a flopped Queen High straight flush. Has to be the biggest beat ever.

I've flopped a full house and lost to runner-runner quads before too, that's poker unfortunately. They do tend to even themselves out though.

See, but in my hand I had the guy covered. He had Q 8 of spades and I had A K of spades... the worst flop possible for me was 9 10 J of spades, and thats what hit.
