Default The Reason I'm not up HUGE on Fake Tilt

50.00 buyin, 50,000 guaranteed...down to 120 players (from 900) and my AA vs AK loses...where if it holds, I'm at 20th place with about 30k chips...but runner runner flush and that all in preflop suckout is complete. So frustrating to have this kind of shit happen over and over again. Just once in a big tourny let my dominating hand old up in that situation...so I cash for 80 instead of being 20th. Another night at Fake Tilt.

It's a tough beat.. yes; however, you are calling allin with two shoves infront of you. You are only about 70.5% to win here preflop. You say its runner runner flush.. there are quite a few outs for the TT hand to hit the river as well. Going into the river card you are only 62% to win. Variance sucks, but it's unavoidable when gambling.

I look at the odds when the $$$ goes in...not after a lucky ass flop & turn. I don't care how many all ins there are, I dont' fold AA in that situation at all.

and then the fuckin retards who just push and call with any two seem to hit all night long. I know this was only a 60/40 hand but this god damluckbox was hitting every terrible call he made (that's how he got 400K) behind everytime.

I would like to tell you about a friend of mine who saw someone fold AA pre flop...
In a tourny, televised about 5 years ago.
13 players remaining, UTG all in, UTG+1 all in, my friend all in (KK)... 5 minute decision by one guy who folds and turns over AA...

he folded simply because my friend who had KK was about same chip level as the guy who folded AA. about 200K chips, were as other players had about 30K chips.
He folded simply because he knew one of them if not two were staying and that he could possibly be on final table, and he knew that even though he had AA, he still wasnt a HUGE %. so he folds.

    UTG turns over AQ
    UTG+2 turns over AK
    my friend turns over KK
and K on flop to decide it...
AA would of gone home busted on final table bubble.
but he made final table and took it down
    my friend came 3rd.

and btw THE 96 PLAY WAS A SQUEEZE... try googling it,
Its very affective, and if you understand anything about tournament strategy (you would not complain about it)
as you would know, its a crucial part in making the final table/money. by stealing blinds and antes when they are CRUCIAL to survival

AA hand is rageworthy imo, even if you're just 70% favorite, it's AA ffs!

I don't hate the way he plays the 96s hand, but result is still pretty disappointing.

Knight...absolutely...No problem with that raise with the stack he had. Just frustrating to lose that hand..esp after the AA disaster. Do you fold AA in that situation? YOu know in a big tourny (it started at 9:30 and this hand happened around 1:15), after people make the money, they push with more marginal hands. I didn't have the chips to just sit there and fold..waiting to flop the nuts
