About LinkBacksFinal table of a 40-player tourney, 4 of us left, I'm short stack with 6bbs left. First to act, QQ, go all in. Big stack calls behind me with J7 offsuit. Flops the 8 and 9, rivers the 10.
Almost identical situation at same tourney in 2010, small stack final table, 6bbs left all in with AK, big stack calls behind with offsuit rags and pulls a flush.
My bad beats story.

Big stacks job to knock out small stacks. How much more was it to call?

You're absolutely right. My all in was a small (very small) fraction of the chip leader's stack both times, and I fully expected them to call. I was just disappointed to see them pull the win out of their ass both times. Oh well...dem's the cards.
