I just finished an odd SnG where it just seemed like i couldn't get a hand, ever. And not just a good hand, but i really couldn't get ANY hand.
The funny thing is that i managed to place 4th at a full table, by playing tight and getting a bit lucky on a forced all-in.
Anyway, i pulled out the stats for the game. They were, as follows:
29 hands before i busted.
I got AK once, which, as it happens, didn't hit the flop, turn or river. Nonetheless, i won a little bit of chips from it.
Other than that:
No pocket pairs (of any kind)
No suited connectors
No AQ
No AJ
No KQ
No KJ
No K10
One A+small kicker (A2o)
I believe my best hand, other than the ones above, was Q10s.
How frequent do you think these runs of bad luck are? I'm thinking about running the math, just for fun. I'll get back once i have a formula.

There are a few people on this forum that put in a ton of hands.. hopefully you can get some feedback from one of them
As for me, I have easily gone 300+ hands with no 22+ or A5o+. I can say that the hands do average out over a larger set. (20K +)
You many want to focus more on your position, you can really open up your range of hands in late position.

Wow... That's a really bad run. But it happens quite often to anybody who's played long enough.
