This hand killed all my profits for this session, ridiculous calls.

Wow, the villain in the first hand is horrible, especially in a limit type game.

Yea just a little, I was really pissed losing a huge pot ($3 pretty big in $.1/.2 limit Hold'em), thought he hit trips somewhere in there....Hes a multitabler, so I'm assuming hes got some skill, idk. First time I've seen him. Can't believe he hit a 4 outer which made my hand better as well xD
Second hand, only reason I was calling was because vaszy23 had been calling/raising alot of pots. On the flop I was scared he had AK. Thats why I cold call turn. River two pair, then I thought he had a 10, wrong opponent. My read on vaszy23 was right though that I was ahead (Sorta figured)Last edited by Jarr3tt88; 01-13-2011 at 08:06 AM.

Not liking your play on hand 2.
KJs is ok if you can limp, but even with an aggy opener, I think it's a little marginal to play, but I won't say wrong though.
Your flat call on the flop is horrible. You have to raise this. If you think KJs is playable, then you have to play it. Raise it up. By not raising on each street, you didn't force out the chasers. And even if they don't leave, your making the pay even more to stay around. That type of passive play on your part is leaving a lot of money on the table.Marm is back, maybe. Been off for 3 years. Rusty as Hell.
Luck is a Residue of Design.

Typically I would raise with KJ in early position (in Limit Hold'em) vaszy23 was raising alot of pots, and normally not many go to the flop after a raise. Like I said, I put vaszy23 on AK for a little, and the others I didn't feel had anything but showing weakness and checking. vaszy23 would always bet out every street, and I basically wanted to get away cheap if I could and did have the best hand.
10 8 had no business in the hand, calling a raise PF, wtf? Flop AND turn bet with only a 4 outer on the turn....he just got lucky on the river. He was BB, and closed the action. I can see why he called PF for the pot odds honestly. But seriously missing the flop should of been a fold.
In hind sight, I prob should of raised the flop to see if he really had the AK, but he would have most def bet out the turn and I probably would have folded to his bluffs. The raise on the flop might actually have driven 10 8 off the hand, but who knows. I certainly wasn't raising on the river thinking one of them had a 10, of course runner runner! ha
