What have been your worst beats? and on what site?
I have had some of the worst beats and 90% of them are on Full Tilt, It happens so much on this site, that its slowly pushing me off even playing online poker.
These are all recent beats
-push with Ks i get called by a guy with Qs and he catches the Q on the river
-push with Bullets get called guy flips 9s and then procceds 2 hit 4 running cards to make a straight
-Have poker 7s i raise 4 times BB he calls, flop comes 667 so i flopped the full house i push, i get called he has 9s, turn comes and with the turn comes a 9 giving him the higher fullhouse.
-Pushed with Bullets i get called by 5s, he then hit 4 running clubs 2 make a flush.
-1st hand of a tourny someone pushed i call with bullets they flip over j8, and the flop came up and they hit trip 8s
That is just a few of the MANY horrible beats i have had on this site, I have lost so many hands with AA, and KK that its not even funny!!!

Bad Beats

I had a lot of bad beats in a row tonight, but you gotta remember there will be downswings like this, where you are losing more often than the odds say you will. I too play at FT, but I used to play at Party Poker a long time ago and I don't notice any big difference in "rigged" situations or more bad beats. Even in live poker, the people who make a living off of it go through the same thing. The thing that makes the winning players keep winning, is that they understand that they will lose - a lot more often than most people think. The whole concept of winning long-term poker is being the mathematical favourite as much as you can, so that over long periods of time you will show overall profit. If you look at any winning player's graph of, say, a year, you will always see ups and downs. Maybe even a big drop along the line, but the overall shape is always an increasing slope. And if you continue playing pretty well, getting it all in with the best hand, you will make a killing when you get that hot streak of not getting sucked out on.
Anyway, hope that keeps your spirits up. It's tough, you just gotta try to keep pushing through the bad luck, and remember that there is light at the end of the tunnel!

Do you notice a common theme among your bad beats?
Stacking off pre-flop.
Yes, I understand that you had a premium hand everytime, but the 20% favorite is going to get there 20% of the time when you stack off pre-flop because they get to see the river with all the money in the pot.
I see in your post over and over it says "pushed with bullets, get called by smaller PP, and they hit something to win.
Well had you made a decent pre-flop bet or re-raise and taken a flop, chances are you push them out of the hand on the flop when they brick.
As far as the 77 flopping 677... you sucked out on 9s to the flop, he just got you back on the turn. He should be just as upset as you are when he sees what a miracle flop you hit. That hand is a little different from the rest though.
My advice to you is this, stop stacking off pre-flop unless it's a 3bet or re-raise situation.

I know what u mean and i have stopped but even when i just raise pre-flop and raise agian after flop i still get called and sucked out and its a fucking piss off cuz it seems that with online poker it always give the shitter hand the win, like an example 2 night, playing in a 6$ 9 person SnG i had 10Q of Diamond i raised 2x BB i get called, flop comes up 9JK 2 spades, i raise pot plus more, the donk calls me, the turn is trash it was a heart I push the donk calls me with A3 of spades and what does he hit on the river?? the God Damn spade online poker is a joke, i get sucked out in almost ever god damn table i play its sad, i sit and wait 4 good and semi good hands and get beat by shit like A3 its plain and simple a fucking joke. It happens 2 often online where ppl call all ins on draws and 90% of the time hit, even when i play 50$ tables its the same bull, ppl risk thier tourny life on a draw and hit. I actualy seriously considering just not playing online poker anymore if this bs keeps up.

You have yourself convinced that online is the only place where it's donkfest and a string of never ending suckouts.
I'm here to tell you, it's not.
People do the same stupid crap in a live game and win big pots as they do online man.

You get donks at whatever level you play at, it's just some donks have more money to waste than others.
As everyone knows, flushes are a popular hand to fish for - this is because if you completely miss on the flop you can fold and if you get 2 of your suit come up, you've got a good chance of completing the hand.
He had roughly a 37% chance of hitting his flush after the flop (so he'll hit the flush almost once every 2.5 hands) - yes, if he was playing statistically (for one he wouldn't be a donk) he should fold after your bet, although depending on how much money both you and he had and what was in the middle, he could have got reasonable implied odds. His call on the turn was terrible, there's no getting away from that, but he still has roughly a 19% chance of hitting, so 1 in 5, so it's not as bad a beat as you think.
We really need chip info to be able to give you accurate advice, as he could have been pot committed or had good enough odds to call on the turn.
In general though, you should have raised more than 2xBB pre-flop if you wanted to get junk out of the hand. Your pot+extra bet on the flop possibly wasn't enough to get a flush draw off the hand (if the blinds are 10/20 and I have 2k in chips, I'd be willing to call a $150 raise into a $100 pot, as I know I'll get a good payout if I hit)
Advice to you: Be stronger pre-flop, look to do 4xBB raises or higher. Anything less suggests you want weaker hands to call, therefore this increases your chances of being sucked out on.
Advice about the hand: Unless he was pot committed on the turn, he shouldn't have called and it's one of those things. Being a donk can be profitable in the short term, but they will always lose long term. Just try and learn from hands like this, think about what you could have done to avoid being sucked out on. ie. take a smaller profit, as at least it's a profit, and try and make him fold on the flop, or keep placing value bets (small bets that he will call) so that you get a bit more out of the hand if he misses and possibly have him pot committed by the river, but if he hits, you're able to get away from it without losing much.

I know it happens in both but it just seems like it happens 2 often, like agian 2 day i was playing I had AQ Suited(Clubs) I raised 1000 blinds were 200 and 400, a short stack calls me, Flop comes Q8A(2 Spades) shot stack pushes I call with 2 pair highest on the board, he Flips pocket 2s the turn shows a spade and sure enough the River shows a spade giving him the flush, and me loseing a fair bit of my stack even though he was short. Like come on this is just crap and it happens way 2 often. Like i was even watchin my buddie in 2 tournys 2 day and got suckedout to 2 river flushes both times him having the best and all the way untill the river hits, it just amazes me how often it happens.Last edited by I-Lose-2-Donks; 07-03-2009 at 11:35 PM.

Its true i know it is but it just seems 2 me like most of the time when they fish 4 it they hit it, and its kind of a joke.
but the thing is its hard be stonger pre flop cuz when ur playin a 2$ SnG ppl dont give a shit they see the smae suite and one of them is a Ace they call no matter what it hopes of hitting the flush which they usuallyu do.
and i know I should have just placed a good bet instead of pushing, and just tried 2 pick of the pot, but its just hard 2 get away from the donks, no matter how good I play i always seem 2 get sucked out, and it gets really annoying and just starts pushing me away from playing poker because it happens so much, i mean I love poker but when stuff like this happens so much it really makes me want 2 stop playing.
