why ever call this? I know pot odds but I just don't do it. I guess to each their own.

Does the outcome of this hand not make it quite clear exactly why I completed? I had to pay 771 chips with the potential of winning 84k and there was 15k in the pot when I called. Loosing 771 made no difference to my stack, it was an easy call.

I needed to have 5% equity to call the 771 on the flop and my implied odds were good (as were my reverse implied odds though I guess) knowing that they would stack off with any pair.

I'm rather surprised that call needed explaining.

Well look at the outcome. You flop big and cant get away. How often are you going to win the hand with multiple people in the pot with 7 duck? Maybe you had killer odds but why get involved? I have no idea what the ... means on the sign explain it.
