If you think you're good at the flop you raise, not call. By check/calling he probably though you were drawing, or had a mediocre hand that you could fold. I guess on the river you were getting better that 2:1, but still... you couldnt be happy to see anything over a 9, or a 6, or a diamond. Even an A would not look good with the rest of the cards out there.

Thanks for the input, I agree. I either should have raised or folded.

But im still fairly new to NL400 and its a differnt beast, well at least for me.
