I was in the Hard Rock, Tampa the other night. I had a bad beat of course, KK's - (Ace Magnets) - and of course, flop came 38K... I'm in right? No problem. All in. Turn, A - River 9, Me and the guy still involved? My KK's VS his AA's. I'm not sure how many times this has happened to me but it has happened. And happened... and happened. Why is it that every time someone has down pairs so many others do too? Anyways, the guy at the table gave me a card - discount at a online poker apparel company... I checked out the site and there was the shirt. KK's - (ACE MAGNETS!) seriously. I had to buy it. They have a great thing going. - the discount code on my card was: 1195154199 (I would bet that you can use it more than once because he was handing out cards to other people as well. Also it doesn't seem to apply it until you finally check out, like no preview, but it did come off my order) It gets you 10% off if you find something you like.

About the up and down in buyins:

I was one buyin down just when I was about to leave a table yesterday and was deciding if i was going to play the BB, i thought I'll play a few more hands just so I don't get a rep as a player who leaves to avoid the blinds when cash is down. I look at my cards: AA, YES!

So I raise reasonable 5BB and 4 people call (YES!), the flop was harmless, so I raised again this time 10BB thinking I better knock out a few. ALL called it (what the...) The Turn comes a K, I thought ok well even if one has KK unless another K comes I'm good. So I went allin. Three of them Called it!
(YES YES YES!) Then the River came and it was a ....

I won the hand.

Soon after I got AK, I raised,3 people called, a ridiculously loose player raised allin, I called for about half my stack, then the tightest of all the players calls behind me and I know I am in alot of trouble. He has AAs and of course I lose so I leave the table about half a buyin up, when It should have been almost 4 up. Overall for the day 2and a bit buyins up but had I played better overall its should have been 8.
