WORST PLAY EVER! WHY DOES THIS HAVE TO HAPPEN TO ME?!

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

Hero ($6)
UTG ($8.20)
MP ($8.40)
CO ($5.75)
Button ($17.10)
SB ($4.30)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 9, 4.
3 folds, Button calls $0.10, SB completes, Hero checks.

Flop: ($0.30) 9, 9, A (3 players)
SB checks, Hero checks, Button bets $0.1, SB folds, Hero calls $0.10.

Turn: ($0.50) 4 (2 players)
Hero checks, Button bets $0.2, Hero calls $0.20.

River: ($0.90) J (2 players)

Okay.. well anyway.. let's just say the guy had JJ. I'm so upset. I thought I slow played this perfectly.

Low limits, and many other times, slow playing or any other "trickery" seams to end up -ev. Make value bets along the way; that way the amount of times they call makes up for these beats. If you slow play, you dont profit when you should, but still lose to the suckouts.

No joke this is a bad position to slowplay. I would have raised that flop for sure. I swear slowplaying anything but the nuts is playing with fire. Such a gay beat.

Are you talking smack? lol.. j/k! Was it really that bad? I'm still recovering.

Anyway..I experienced a way worse beat later on that night... and I am too ashamed to even put it on river rats.. GAH... my heater.. wasted!!
