This is bad but at least he was calling you down with top pair. I'm not saying he should have been in the hand in the first place but he didn't play it atrociously post flop especially after the turn card.

I kinda have to agree with above.. I think the hand just went well for him after his BAD call preflop and marginal call flop call. Of course, that's the essence of a bad beat I suppose. It's bad but could have been worse.. 2D, 3D now that would have been sick.

If nobody else is seeing a problem with his turn call you all need to go back and learn basic pot odds. The pot was $3.45 and I bet $2 into it which he promptly called. You really think his preflop call was the only problem?

NOOB! LOOK AT WHAT HE WAS CALLING WITH, YOU THINK HE EVEN KNOWS ABOUT POT ODDS! and it was 2$ more to win a pot of about 5$ so thats like 2.5 to 1

I've seen this alot at the lower limits lately.

Its like they don't know/care about odds (I seriously doubt they know anything about implied odds either). They are willing to gamboooooll it all on spiking the turn or river - usually in a flush situation too.

Bad luck mate - hope you make it back three fold from someone else chasing in the near future.
