I don't get how this can be in "river rats", You didnt get rivered. You just trapped yourself. Hes raising underthe gun in short stack. You didn't give him respect the other 5 players did. I can see your call to see the flop but if your calling with ace,10 suited your tring to hit the flush not tring to hit your ace. You have to put him on a high pair or a higher ace to be raising in early position shortstacked like that.

If you read the description for the RiverRats section you will see that any decent beat is worth posting there.

The nice thing about your post is that it shows that it can be easy to over play top pair when you have a big stack. This is a problem that I have been working on also. I have been try to keep my pots small but it doesn't always work for me.
