Default That's it.....I quit.

I'm seriously this close to withdrawing my BR and just walking away.

I just don't know what to do anymore. When I'm not losing my money to bad beats, I'm losing to bad moves or bad calls. NOTHING seems to be working for me. I've tried playing tighter. I've tried loosening up. I've tried playing ABC poker. I've tried getting fancy. I've dropped to $50NL, back up to $100NL and then back to $50NL. I've taken breaks. I've re-read books. I've stopped playing late at night. I've stopped playing early in the morning. No matter what I do or try, I still just keep losing. I was able to work my BR back up to $1400 after having it drop to it's lowest point ($1250) yet here I am, 1 week later, and my BR has now dropped to just under $1100.

This game just isn't even fun anymore. It's like paying someone to kick you in the nuts every 20 mins.

I dont think quiting is the answer either, the rakeback and switch to another site is a great idea in my opinion, as much as I like pokerstars and I know you do as well, it has been a great spot to build your bankroll a change of scenery might be a good idea versus the other options.

Definitely switch sites and go with rakeback and a nice deposit bonus. Rakeback especially makes such a difference when you're on a bad run.

This might not be appropriate cos I know you're a very good player but, from my experience the players at stars are at a higher level than other sites. UB for example, the tables are far juicier up to NL200 plus there's the rakeback and nice bonus. Maybe if you're on a bad run like this having some uber-donks hand you some cash might help you get going again.

Or find any table I'm on after 6pm EST and I will be donating $$$ to everyone and anyone

I recommend Cardrunners for superb poker coaching. It was honestly the single biggest improvement in my game signing up there! Sign-up fee might seem steep, but it pays itself back within weeks.

i know how you feel. I am just gettting so frustrated on hands that I am way ahead in and then get rocked by a suckout. Im just trying to lower the stakes and hang in there. Eventually youll make it all back plus some. Thats how i look at it.

Thnd Stars doesn't give rakeback to anyone.

Most other sites do if you sign up through an affiliate such as RaketheRake.

yo man.. do urself a favour and go play on another site.. like TA said, ring games fucken suck on stars.. stars has some of the hardest to beat ring games on the internet.. its a friggen rock garden there..

especially their middle stakes games.. there like all low avg pots and low % to flop. This basically means ur never ever gonna get paid off on any of ur big hands, because people are capable of folding.

Honestly man, u should move all ur money back to neteller, and go bonus whoring.

Check out the ongame sites, and the tribeca sites. Also party poker/empire poker has easy to clear bonuses and juicy games.

Use www.bonuswhores.com to find out which sites have the easiest to clear bonuses for your limit, and work ur way down the list.
Use sites such as www.pokersourceonline.com, www.boogster.com, www.pokersavvy.com, etc.. to sign up for those pokersites to get urself some extra $$.

Imagine flopping a set and getting paid off every single time. Thats basically what ongame/tribeca is like.

Imo, the sites u should avoid for ring games are Stars, UB, FTP.

Mc.J, you're not quiting. You're a PROVEN winning player. Take some time off and switch sites like others have said.
