between last October and early November i lost close to 3k at the pokery through some fault of my own but mainly due to getting sucked out on every hand, no draws hitting, set over set i dunno how many times, typical either lose lots or win little with my monsters etc etc etc

the hammering i was getting caused me to play like a donk and i wouldnt take a break cos "these fucking retards luck is gonna level out sooner or later"......it didnt and my beats continued

if it wasnt for bonuses cleared during that period, my available BR woulda been almost wiped out......as it was, i ended the 6 weeks down amost 1.5K and i wasnt terribly impressed with poker life at that point in time.

even tho i coulda pumped more cash into my BR if need be, i didnt wanna as i told myself that i wasnt topping up my roll once i started being self-sufficient at this poker lark.

to make a long story slightly longer, i basically stopped playing from mid-November until early January except for a very rare donk-n-go every once in a while.

i came back in January and kicked ass all over the shop.....Jan and Feb so far have been very good to me and im now back to a stage where im happy playing again.

i went through bad runs before and mini-breaks never worked for me as id just get madder and madder AND FUCKING MADDER when i played again after a day or two off so a good long vacation was needed for me away from it all.

it may not work for u but im genuinely feeling ur pain and hope u find your way round it.........also, take some comfort from the fact that if someone as gifted as me can go through a bad run, everyone prob will

Since 15 Jan I have played 40k hands.

QQ has earned me $1200
Bonuses has earned me approaching $2000 (I admit my bonuses are pretty much 100% rakeback alot of the time).

Continuing to play at Stars without bonuses is like open folding QQ every time you are dealt it.

even though stars doesnt give rakeback i'd say fpp's are the equivalent of a rakeback when you really think about it

100,000FPP can be exchanged for $1500 to be fair.
How long does it take to make 100,000FPP at $200NL?
