5 calls and it gets to me again, $33 in the pot so I call the $4 extra
UTG folds, 7 players to flop, $37 pot

Flop comes AsTs2h

I check, original raiser bets $10
Player in the cutoff calls and everybody else folds
I call, pot is now $67

turn comes 4s

I check, original raiser checks, cutoff bets $15
I act it out for a little bit like I'm unsure, and then reraise him to $35
original raiser folds
cutoff asks me how much I have
I move my chips to where the dealer can count them
dealer says "$72" ...
cutoff counts out $72 in chips DIRECTLY IN FRONT OF HIS CARDS and releases them
Dealer pulls the chips and says to me 'he wants to put you all in'
I automatically call and flip over my cards

ALL THE SUDDEN CUTOFF FLIPS OUT - "WHAT? NO! I didnt bet him all in I NEVER SAID I BET.. I HAVE TO SAY I BET"

Dealer points out that he put his chips in front of his cards and it constitutes a bet.

Cutoff flips out even more and starts throwing a fit

Floor is called

Floor sides with dealer/me

Cutoff starts screaming like a baby and making a scene

Floor gives up and agrees to give his chips back

Something I'm missing...? He bet $15, you raised $20 (to $35) and have $72 left... if he only counted out $72 he was calling your raise and betting $52 more, so the dealer was wrong to say he's putting you all in. You would have $20 left and since you flipped your hand before the time, most places your hand could be declared dead and he would win by default. Of course since the dealer made the mistake of saying you were all-in I'm not sure what exactly would happen.

Either way, you got pwnd by the house.
