Default Flopping the nuts isnt good enough?

I realize now I should not have slowplayed the hand as severe as I did. However with a rainbow flop out there it was tempting and I fell for it. However I tell myself he would have called a bet on the turn with nut flush draw and gutshot. Ehh can't win em all.

well, u didnt flop the nuts as AK could be out there.

If your not getting any money in there flop/turn this type of play is -ev in the long run. Granted you had the second nut at the river, but you were just lucky (in this case unlucky) you had two hearts... I would have called there for sure. To be honest, I very well could of, and probably have many times, played a hand just like this.

Seams like you figured this out anyway... just putting it out there.
