It was only a cheap tourney, but it's not the money for me, it's the winning and this just plain sucked. I've been on the worst run of cards since I've started playing this last week or 2 just to make matters worse. I'd played perfectly all game, some disciplined lay downs, some nice moves and I always got my chips in ahead (until the first of these 2 hands).

I'm in the top 5 with a very healthy stack, about 55k, and get AA in the CO, 600/1200 blinds. One limper UTG, folds round to me, I raise to half the limper's stack, short stack in BB calls all in (sweet, an easy bounty) and the limper calls off half his chips. At this point I'm thinking he's slow rolling KK or the other AA. Flop comes 9 high and he pushes, I follow my read (and let's face it who the fuck lays this down?) and call and he shows 99 and it holds.

Only a few hands later I get AA UTG and raise pot, it folds round to the SB who calls and the BB folds. Flop comes K rag rag, he bets pot, I put him all in, he calls, shows KQ, K on river, gg UB.

The first guy called off half his chips PF with 99 and the second guy clearly had no positional sense at all. These donks always do this to me deep in to tournaments and it sucks.


Incidentally, I ordered HoH vol's 1-3 today, can't wait
