Hi all, although it's play money poker it annoyed me.

I entered a 500 buy in for pokerstars which had 5000 people.

I had played superb, folding in the right places, betting what I thought was right etc.

I was 5th place out of 114 people (played for a few hours) and I noticed the leader of the whole thing kept raising blinds ridiculously scaring off everyone.

I managed to get dealt pocket aces, so I just called the 500 blind to try play it slow.

He raised it to half of his money to scare people off, so I thought I'd nail him and go all in.

When his cards overturned he had gone all in with 5 and 6 off suit, I started to laugh, then the flop let's out a 5, Q, 6 . turn and river J 10. I couldn't believe it

The worst part is two people said to him "NH" :mad:

I guess that's what happens in play money lol

We talking play money here?

yep! not moved onto proper money yet. still getting the hang of poker

Play money won't really teach you anything. People don't play properly
when they haven't put any money down.

You will probably just develop bad habits if you keep playing play money.
