I figured it was a split pot. I didn't want to feed the rake so I check called the river. Thank god I did.



PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (7 handed)

Hero ($83.35)
MP2 ($56.10)
CO ($62.50)
Button ($7.45)
SB ($23.05)
BB ($19.50)
UTG ($30.55)

Preflop: Hero is MP1 with , .
UTG calls $0.50, Hero raises to $2, 1 fold, CO calls $2, 1 fold, SB calls $1.75, BB calls $1.50, UTG calls $1.50.

Flop: ($10) , , (5 players)
SB bets $1, BB folds, UTG calls $1, Hero raises to $8, CO calls $8, SB calls $7, UTG folds.

Turn: ($35) (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $15, CO calls $15, SB folds.

River: ($65) (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $10, Hero calls $10.

Final Pot: $85

Results in white below:
Hero has As Kd (full house, kings full of fours).
CO has 4d 4h (four of a kind, fours).
Outcome: CO wins $85.

Why would he bet $10 into a $65 pot. He should know you have a King.

why did you play river like that is my quetsion

regardless that sucks. I had one of those myself a month ago. I was really confused when pot moved to him.

Yeah. I don't get this at all. Villian stacks me here every time. The rake is maxed.

You invested $17 that you didn't need to here. The first $8 bet and then the call of the re raise. Check fold the river. What can you beat that called your raise on the flop?
