I have yet to raise with any PP other than aces, and not see an ace on the flop.

So- My new favorite hand: AK offsuit

Shortly after those aces, I got aces again and wound up losing a $100 pot to a guy with TT after he flopped a set of Ts. I logged off my PC and went to bed.

Then this morning I actually manage to catch a couple of good cards and work my way up to $80. Then this hand happened.

How can anyone actually profit in this fucking game? It seems like any time I actually start to do well and make some money, I hit a really bad streak and lose everything I've earned. In the last 2 weeks my BR has gone from $800 to $500, back up to $850 and in the last 3 days it's back to $500. I'm getting soooo fucking frustrated.

You're not alone. This month has been horrid for me. I guess in the long run, you can't expect to make more than a small profit, whether cash or tourney. For instance PT tells me I got 50% ROI on the $6 turbos. So I fire up a dozen, and of course aces get cracked in the first, kings in the next, then AK- finally I busted nearly all of them. Variance is just fucking HUGE in this game, whether cash or tourney...Or maybe it isn't variance and Mr Lee Jones is just playing games with us
