I had a class this afternoon and decided to take the train to class because parking sucks. Walking sucks in this weather, even when it's only 5 blocks from teh station to class, but anyway, I took a cab to the office and grinded away at a couple of NL$1k tables on Party, got shit for a couple of hours, and lost some kaysh. Luckily, I got shit the whole time, so no bad beats, and from how I was running I would've taken those beats had I got cards.

I took a cab home, went upstairs, took a shower, ate dinner with the Tomato, hopped in the car and drove out to the casino. Dead night over there, so the only games going were lo-limit and $200NL games. There were 4 NL tables going, though, so cool- fish.

I'm get sat at a MOVE and get in the CO (my 4th hand at the table).

Pretty active table. One limper to me and I raise the $5 blind to $30 and get called by the BB. Earlier limper folds.

Flop was 8 hi. I really don't remember it other than it was unpaired with 2 spades and no straight out there. The walk from the parking garage to the door was brutal in this weather and then going up to the 4th floor for the poker room (Why don't I take the elevator? It's not THAT far from the stairs.)

Anyway, BB (unknown) leads for $45. My dumb ass pushes all in. He calls. He has .

I say, "Do you have a spade?" because my dumb ass forgot in the last 15 seconds that he had a spade. So I lost $200 in about 6 minutes. RELOAD!!!

An hour later, I'm on a new MOVE table ( ) and my stack over $500, so I've made up for that Queens debacle. I get 2 off the button. Everyone folds to me. I raise to $15 (normal raise) and get called by the BB (total idiot that makes me wish I raised more right after he called.) with about $150 in front of him.

Flop:

All black with a gutshot and 2 overs. Sweet. How do I get all my money in the middle? Hmmm. Here's how...

He bets out for $25. I raise him to $75. He pushes, making it less than $70 more and I beat him to the pot.

I bit my lower lip and said, "You got me. Nice hand." and he shows for a WHEEL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What the fuck is going on here? Whatever. I grinded away for another 4 hours and cashed out for $465.

Bad. The best thing I did all day was eat dinner.

I just realized that I only made $65, but I lost $350 in those two hands. Five hours. I should've put on a different hat, drove my Lincoln downtown, and given people rides from the night clubs.

Consider that I lost about $500+ online this afternoon, gas prices suck as do mortgages, and the heat index can't get below 100.

This is kindof a mind boggler and it doesn't seem to workout for me....if everyone gets the same cards in the long run (very long run) then you getting crap at a nl $200 table (lets say you did) does that mean the worse cards were at the lower limits but surly it can't work like that?
